Day 6: Sangria

Day 6.

Tonight we had planned to go out for supper with my co-workers for our belated Christmas party. Since we were planning on coming back to our house after we ate, I thought I'd make some "sangria". I put it in quotes because it isn't really a recipe, and I don't think it actually qualifies as sangria.

Really, I wanted to make something because I got my new beverage dispenser from Crate and Barrel yesterday. See? Isn't it cool???

Here's what you'll need.

Arbor Mist Sangria

Easy peasy.

You just put it all together!
No, not like that!

Get a knife. And one of those orange peeler thingys if you have one. I got mine from my grandma. I don't even know where you would find one now.

Slice up all your fruit.

And dump in all the sangria in a bottle.

Okay now. I'm not a wine snob. I'm cheap. I admit it. That's why I use this Arbor Mist stuff. It's less than $5 a bottle, and that's good with me. :)

You should end up with something along these lines. It's best if you can let it sit for a while, so the fruit soaks up some of the alcohol.

So there. My cheap-o "sangria". Ahh, starting to feel like summer in here. :)
