Day 16: Sweet Tea

Day 16.

Okay. I know this is kind of an easy one, but I think I make some pretty darn good sweet tea. I thought I would post about it, hoping maybe my friend Mandy can make this recipe. :)

Here's what you'll need.
Photobucket
A big, gallon sized pitcher
Sugar
4 Family sized teabags

Photobucket
Bring some water to a boil in a teakettle. If you don't have a kettle, you can boil some water in a saucepan.

Photobucket
If you're making one gallon of tea, add in 1 cup of sugar.

Photobucket
Pour in the boiling water, and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Photobucket
Drop in the teabags, and smoosh 'em down into the water. With a spoon please, not your hands. The water is hot.

Photobucket
Let the teabags steep for about 5 minutes.

Photobucket
After 5 minutes is up, remove the teabags. Add cold water until you have a full gallon.

Chill in the fridge. Yum. Sweet tea.

I'm totally with you. Except I don't really know what steep means. But once I google that, I'm in!
