Day 42: Burgers

Day 42.

The sun was shining a bit today, so we thought we would attempt to grill outside. It didn't work because we need a new burner on the grill, but we still did burgers. ;)

Here's what you'll need.
Photobucket
1 lb. ground beef
1 Tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Photobucket
Dump all the ingredients into a bowl.

Photobucket
Now you're gonna get dirty. Get your hands in there and start mixing it up.

Photobucket
And keep mixing until it's all combined.

Photobucket
Now, to divide this up, I smoosh it into a layer in the bottom of the bowl.

Photobucket
Then I use my hands to kind of "score" lines in the meat in 4 equal sections.

Photobucket
To make each patty, roll a quarter of the meat into a ball

Photobucket
Then squash it flat

Photobucket
Ta-da!

Now, I prefer to grill these, but since our grill was acting up Kurt panfried them. I didn't get any shots of him cooking, but you can cook them however works best for you.

Photobucket
I like mine with pepperjack, bacon, and tomatoes. Mmmm.

Yum! I make them very similar, but I use http://www.greekseasoning.com/ . You will have to try it sometime. Great on steak too! They sell it in pretty much any spice section.

:) Now I want burgers!

Oh, I think we have some of that in the cabinet, Krista!
We really like it too.

I made two different fancy burgers this weekend. I made mushroom swiss, and patty melts. Your burgers look fantastic!
